Embrace Your Uniqueness: The Kismattu Journey
Hi, I’m Miranda, and here’s my story.
Born Different. Inspired To Create.
In a world where individuality shines, I came into this world with one arm.
This experience has given me a unique perspective. I don’t merely see life; I interpret it through my own lens, and that’s what propels me forward.
Crafting Garments That Radiate Love
Kismattu was born from a simple realisation: the clothing we wear should celebrate our bodies exactly as they are.
At Kismattu, we believe clothing isn’t just fabric; it’s an expression of self-love.
Truth is, we can’t choose our bodies, but we can choose how we embrace them. My designs celebrate every curve, every quirk, and every beautiful imperfection.
We use adaptive designs and inclusive sizing because we believe fashion should serve people, not the other way around.
When you wear Kismattu, you're wearing a piece of my story — and becoming part of a larger movement of self-love and acceptance.
Finding Strength Through Movement
My yoga journey began as personal exploration of my own strength - physical, mental, and spiritual.
But it soon became clear that what started as a private practice, had become something much, much more. It soon grew into a passion I needed to share.
Earning my 500-hour yoga certification wasn't always easy. I had to modify poses, create new approaches, and sometimes educate my teachers as much as they educated me. But with each challenge came growth, and with growth came wisdom I now share with others.
Beyond fashion, I’m on a mission to empower.
To help you find the inner strength deep inside. The strength that makes every life blossom and grow.
As a certified 500-hour Yoga Teacher, I guide others toward self-discovery. Yoga isn’t just about poses; it’s about understanding and honoring our bodies—the vessels that carry our dreams.
Beyond Clothing: Building Community
Kismattu has grown beyond my wildest dreams.
From a small adaptive clothing compnay to a community of individuals embracing their authentic selves.
I also teach yoga classes, host workshops, retreats, and online gatherings where people share stories, challenges, and triumphs.
Our community members often tell me they came for the clothing or the yoga, but stayed for the connection. There's profound power in seeing yourself reflected in others, in knowing you're not alone in your experience.
What's Your Kismattu?"
Kismattu" means destiny in Malayalam —a fitting name for a brand born from embracing one's true path.
We all have aspects of ourselves we're learning to love, and journeys of acceptance we're navigating.
So I ask you: What's your Kismattu?
What unique qualities are you learning to embrace?
How are you turning your challenges into your greatest strengths?
Join me in celebrating the beauty of being unapologetically, wonderfully you.
Because when we honor our uniqueness, we discover our destiny.
What's Your Destiny?
